Low Light Laser Therapy

LLLTLow Light Laser Therapy (LLLT) is the application of a low-intensity laser over injuries to repair soft tissue, reduce inflammation and provide relief to acute and chronic pain. The intensity of the laser is not high like a surgical laser. There is no heating effect. LLLT stimulates and enhances cell function for healing and helps damaged tissue recover faster.

LLLT is used for:

  • soft tissue injuries,
  • joint conditions,
  • acute/chronic pain,
  • non-healing leg and pressure ulcers,
  • Minor injuries and sprains,
  • Inflammation,
  • Aches and pains,
  • Skin rejuvenation,
  • Wound healing,
  • Acupuncture,
  • Future uses,

How Does LLLT Work

LLLT is used complementary to other treatments and there is no extra charge. During this procedure, different wavelengths and outputs of low-level light are applied directly to a targeted area. The body tissue then absorbs the light causing a reaction, and the damaged cells respond with a physiological reaction that promotes regeneration. The procedure is painless and noninvasive. There will be no sound, vibration or heat. Each treatment typically takes only a few minutes, however, it requires multiple sessions before you can gauge its effectiveness. Please note this treatment does not work on everyone.
